Have you ever asked yourself, “Can money spells make me rich?”
Well, if you have, you’re not alone! Almost everyone at least once in their life has wished or prayed for more money in some way. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that.
Going a step further, I have found that there are a handful of people who recite actual money spells to bring about more riches into their lives.
Curious? I was too. This post will explain what a money spell is and how it works (or if it works).
What is a Money Spell?
So what is a money spell exactly? Let’s break it down.
For our discussion, a spell is a word or cluster of words held to have some sort of magic power. You know, like a witch casts a “spell”.
Of course, we all know what money is, it’s a generally accepted measure of value or means of payment (eg. U.S. Dollar).
Together, money spells are words and/or rituals recited to bring about more money into your life.
Here’s a quick one I pulled up on Pinterest.
The basic premise of this money spell is requesting an abundance of money coming your way with no harm to others in the process… interesting!
Let’s take a look at another example…
This one employs the use of cinnamon too! (yummy)
Or, how about this money spell? The abundance jar!?
I do wonder what kind of jar? A Mason Jar? Or, perhaps a frugal find at the dollar store?
Does it Work?
Now here’s the million dollar question! Do money spells really work??
(Of course NOT silly, you may be thinking.)
But before you dismiss this completely, ask yourself. Have you ever prayed for abundance and/or wealth? I know I have.
So here’s my take.
I do NOT believe reciting and practicing a money spell will make you rich. It’s simply an act of saying something out loud and in some cases manipulating objects. I’m sorry to say that this will have no effect whatsoever with your odds of winning the lottery.
If you truly believe this could work, and say the money spell with enough energy for your body to feel it, then I do believe you CAN reprogram your subconscious mind.
How it Works
I’ll use an exaggerated example for our purposes.
Let’s say you have a garden and weeds begin to grow within it over time.
You could chant “There are NO weeds. There are NO weeds. There are NO weeds.” And, unfortunately, you’d be wrong. The weeds will still be there!
However, if you chant, “There are NO weeds. There are NO weeds. There are NO weeds.” with a ton of energy and pump yourself up, then you may just trigger yourself to go out and put on some gardening gloves and start pulling those little buggers out!
So, do you see the distinction?
A money spell, or incantation, MUST trigger you to take action if you truly want to be rich. I do some form of this during my early morning routine. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it a “spell”, but I would say that I’m intentional with my thoughts, prayers, and then subsequently my actions.
Which Money Spells Should I Use?
If you decide that money spells are something you’d like to explore, might I suggest ones that minimize the use of objects and creating concoctions. The potentially valuable ones are those that can help your money mindset as I mentioned above.
Furthermore, I would NOT suggest you buying any money spells. There appears to be plenty online to try for free.
(Side rant: How come I couldn’t find any money spells that use FIRE!)
How to Really Get Rich
Now if you’re just starting out on the path to wealth, there’s nothing wrong with that.
Shoot, if all you’ve got are a few money spells to start with, I say more power to you.
But, don’t forget to use that energy to catalyze some action.
Your first action could simply start with believing YOU can be rich.
Next, you’ll want to start reading voraciously (check my resources page for books I recommend). This costs next to nothing and can give you access to some of the best minds of people who are already rich and successful.
From there, you’ll need to leverage that knowledge into ACTION. This could be in the form of saving, investing or even making bold moves in your career.
And then you adjust and systematize what’s working!
Did you know that I actually met a self-proclaimed “money witch“? And, I met her at FinCon, an annual personal finance blogger/influencer conference.
In my younger years, I would have simply laughed at half the notion of money spells. But, as I’ve gotten older, I learned to become more accepting of people and their differences.
In a strange way, a lot of the differences we see are actually linked to commonalities of the human spirit. We all crave certainty that more money will provide. We all crave significance which some believe money will provide.
And, so casting a money spell, may not be as bizarre as I once would have thought.
Readers, have you ever heard of a money spell? Have you ever prayed for more money? Have you ever wished for abundance?
